Notes in the margin

Hold a finger on the page and a pin drops beside the line. The pin opens a note that never runs out of room: type, or draw with Apple Pencil, and a new page opens below when you get near the end.

A pin is a whole notebook

Add a checklist, a photo or your voice. Turn handwriting into text, or snip a figure off the page and draw on it. Each pin has a kind: Note, Question, Idea or Action.

One pin for the whole book

For the thoughts that are not about one page, like the questions you bring to a book or a to-do list. It is not tied to a page, so it stays on screen wherever you drag it.

Read faster, with a guide

The guide lights the words in front of your eyes and moves at the pace you set. Light a line, a group of words, or show the words large in the middle of the screen.

Every book, on every device

Your library lives in your own iCloud. Add a pin on the iPad and it is on the iPhone too. No account to make.

Highlight, review, export

Select a line to highlight it or look it up. Review brings your pins back a few days later. A book's notes export as Markdown.
